At Children’s Help and Helpage Foundation, we are committed to providing comprehensive healthcare assistance, understanding that a robust health infrastructure is the cornerstone of a thriving society.
Our dedication to health extends beyond age and circumstance, with a focus on delivering essential medical support to individuals across the spectrum of life. Children’s Help and Helpage Foundation acts as a beacon of hope, ensuring that every individual receives the basic medical assistance they deserve. In our pursuit of excellence in healthcare provision, we collaborate with medical institutions and organizations to facilitate advanced healthcare for those in need. Recognizing that timely and quality healthcare is a fundamental right, we leave no stone unturned in connecting individuals with the resources that can significantly impact and improve their lives. As a child welfare organization, Children’s Help and Helpage Foundation tirelessly works towards the betterment of underprivileged children, emphasizing health, education, and nutrition.

Beyond these foundational aspects, we are devoted to the early detection of major illnesses such as heart disease and cancer, aiming to provide proactive interventions for a healthier future. We are an independent organization, free from religious, political, or government affiliations, driven solely by the passion to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Our financial support has played a pivotal role in more than 50 successful cardiac surgeries, offering a new lease on life for infants treated at renowned institutions like Sion, KEM, and Wadia Hospital in Mumbai. Children’s Help and Helpage Foundation is not merely an organization;it is a commitment to fostering well-being and resilience in the face of health challenges. Our work is a testament to the belief that everyone, regardless of their background, deserves access to quality healthcare. In addition to our ongoing initiatives, we continue to champion the early detection of major illnesses, affirming our dedication to creating a healthier, happier, and more compassionate society.

Chah Foundation's Health Empowerment Initiatives: Transformative Health Checkup and Eye Camp
In our relentless pursuit of community well-being, Chah Foundation proudly presents its impactful health initiatives, manifesting in the recently conducted Free Health Checkup and Eye Camp on March 20, 2022, at Govandi, Mumbai. This endeavor was carried out in collaboration with CHILDREN'S HELP AND HELPAGE Foundation, epitomizing our commitment to making essential medical services accessible to the underprivileged. Guided by the wisdom that "Health is Wealth," the event was inaugurated by Mr. Ashwin Patne, President of CHILDREN'S HELP AND HELPAGE Foundation. The primary objective was to address the health needs of the poor and needy, offering a spectrum of vital tests including ECG, CBC, RBS, and B.P. Operating from 10 am to 5 pm, the camp successfully served 250 beneficiaries, providing not just diagnoses but also crucial health-related information. Chah Foundation's commitment extends beyond urban centers, with periodic health camps conducted for rural communities. Additionally, eye check-up camps have been instrumental in examining patients, providing medications, and conducting successful cataract operations, enhancing vision and quality of life.

Our dedication to health education is demonstrated through active participation in health awareness programs, utilizing diverse channels such as rallies, street plays, and camps. The foundation also emphasizes skill development and workplace safety, adopting a holistic approach to community welfare. In a recent eye check-up and cataract operation camp held in Govandi, 220 individuals registered for examination. Of them, 119 were identified for cataract surgery, and 108 underwent the operation during the camp. The participants, spanning various age groups, highlighted the inclusivity of our initiatives, with a notable emphasis on women's participation and a significant portion belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. Chah Foundation remains unwavering in its commitment to fostering a healthier society.
The success of these health camps stands as a testament to our dedication to making quality healthcare accessible to all, irrespective of socio-economic backgrounds. Join us in our journey towards a healthier, happier, and more empowered community.

Chah Foundation's Hygiene Smile Program: Empowering Girls Through Awareness and Support
Chah Foundation's Hygiene Smile Program: Empowering Girls Through Awareness and Support
In collaboration with the CHILDREN'S HELP AND HELPAGE FOUNDATION, Chah Foundation has undertaken a crucial initiative to raise awareness about menstruation, menstrual hygiene, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). Recognizing the importance of empowering girls with knowledge and resources, we have introduced the Hygiene Smile Program in schools, fostering a holistic approach towards menstrual health and hygiene.
As part of this program, Chah Foundation conducted targeted hygiene awareness campaigns, engaging with young girls in schools to dismantle the stigma surrounding menstruation. The focus is not only on providing information but also on ensuring that girls have access to the necessary resources for proper menstrual hygiene management. Hygiene Kits, comprising essential items such as sanitary napkins, were distributed to all girls in the program, with the commitment to continue this support throughout their lives.
The distribution sessions served as opportunities to impart knowledge about the benefits and advantages of using hygiene products. Through interactive discussions, we aimed to create a safe space for girls to ask questions, share experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of their bodies. Chah Foundation believes that fostering awareness and providing tangible support can be transformative for girls, promoting a sense of confidence, dignity, and empowerment.
By addressing menstrual hygiene and WASH, we contribute to breaking barriers and ensuring that every girl can navigate adolescence with the necessary knowledge and resources, allowing them to focus on their education and personal growth without hindrance. The Hygiene Smile Program exemplifies our commitment to creating a healthier and more informed future for the girls we serve.

Wonders Of Colour" - Chah Foundation's Heartwarming Holi Celebration
Wonders Of Colour" - Chah Foundation's Heartwarming Holi Celebration
Chah Foundation believes in celebrating festivals with a purpose, turning moments of joy into acts of charity. In a heartfelt continuation of our annual tradition, "Wonders Of Colour" transformed the traditional Holi celebration into a meaningful occasion of spreading happiness and love among the less fortunate. Last year, we decided to forego the usual splash of colors on each other and opted for a unique approach – filling the lives of needy people with the true colors of charity.
Our Eco-Friendly Holi was a joyous occasion celebrated with the children from Pasaidan Balbhavan, an orphanage started by Mr. Baban Shinde in Khadavli. This heartwarming event aimed not only to bring smiles to the faces of 35 orphaned children but also to make a lasting impact on their lives. Chah Foundation, in collaboration with Z.P School, organized a vibrant Holi party for the kids, complete with music, refreshments, and herbal colors. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy as both our enthusiastic volunteers and the children immersed themselves in the festivities.

However, the true essence of the celebration went beyond the surface. As part of our commitment to the community, Chah Foundation extended its support by donating various gifts, providing breakfast, and serving lunch to the children of Pasaidan Balbhavan. Our volunteers maintained regular interactions with the children, fostering bonds and creating a positive impact on their lives. This unique Holi celebration follows a tradition set by Chah Foundation, where every festival becomes an opportunity to spread love, joy, and generosity. In the past, we have celebrated Holi at an Old Age Home in Koparkhairane, emphasizing our dedication to encompassing all sections of society in our mission to make a difference.

Chah Foundation believes that the true spirit of any festival lies in sharing, caring, and bringing smiles to those who need it the most. Through "Wonders Of Colour," we continue our journey to paint lives with the vibrant hues of compassion and goodwill, ensuring that the festival of colors leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those we serve.

C.H.H.F's "Voice of Voiceless" Initiative: Nourishing Lives, Empowering Strays
Life on Earth extends far beyond humankind, encompassing a diverse array of animals and plants that rely on Mother Earth for their existence. The ongoing pandemic has not only impacted human lives but has equally affected the well-being of our animal companions. In the urban and semi-urban landscapes where infrastructural development intertwines with wildlife habitats, the lives of stray animals hang in the balance.
The lockdowns imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic left strays in metropolitan areas hungry and vulnerable to diseases. Unable to find food and water, these voiceless beings faced unprecedented challenges as those who used to care for them were confined indoors. Recognizing this plight, Children's Help and Helpage Foundation, in collaboration with 'Street Animals', initiated a crucial feeding program in the Kalyan Dombivali stretch of Thane District. In these trying times, where human survival has become a challenge, the plight of these voiceless strays has reached unimaginable depths.

Many struggle to survive, succumbing to hunger and thirst. In response, C.H.H.F launched the "Voice of Voiceless" initiative, aiming to alleviate the suffering of stray animals by providing essential nourishment. The feeding program not only addresses hunger but also mitigates human-animal conflicts, contributing to a healthier coexistence. Additionally, the initiative extends to rescuing abandoned dogs, offering them shelter, and providing necessary medical support with the guidance of veterinarians.
C.H.H.F is committed to ensuring that all strays receive vaccinations and no furry friend sleeps hungry. With eateries closed and people confined to their homes, C.H.H.F seeks to make survival easier for strays by supplying them with essentials like water, food, and shelter. As stewards of the planet, we hold the responsibility to care for our fellow beings. C.H.H.F invites you to be part of this compassionate journey, becoming the 'Voice of Voiceless' animals and ensuring a future where no life, regardless of its form, goes unnoticed or uncared for. Join us in this mission to nurture and empower the silent, yet resilient, souls that share our world.
