All children deserve the best start in life. Unfortunately, for many, this isn’t the reality. The children living in urban slums are highly deprived. Only intensive support and education can revent anti- social behaviour amongst children. However educational deprivation of slum children in particular and poor urban children in specific is often camouflaged by aggregate statistics on urban areas. Understanding the exisiting milieu and under RTE of our country, CHAH care through the consistent efforts of its education support team, has been successful in mainstreaming 550 children in Adhiwashi School, khadavli.
